Fellowship Church of Dubai

We are an evangelical, non-denominational church that began 20 years ago with 30 people meeting in a villa. By God’s grace, we now gather each week as a church of over 5,000 followers of Jesus attending 10 services in two hotels on opposite ends of Dubai. Our purpose is to reach the unreached and disciple them to become followers of Jesus. People from 120+ nations attend Fellowship. Our purpose is to be a church for people who think they don’t like church, helping them come to know a God they think they don’t need, sharing the message of Jesus, training and equipping them, and sending them back to their home countries to carry the gospel message.  God is constantly sending us new people who need to hear the Good News about Jesus. Please, help us to reach them.

Outreach to Laborers

The amazing skyscrapers and other buildings in Dubai are the work of hundreds of thousands of migrant laborers recruited to Dubai from many countries, particularly from South Asia and Africa. The UAE construction industry employs a workforce in the UAE of 1.2 million construction workers, most of them in Dubai. These men and women live in camps, in dormitories, around the edge of Dubai. They work long hours, 6 days a week. Since its beginning, Fellowship has had a desire to care for them. Part of our international church staff is dedicated to regularly visiting the camps to share God’s love, provide recreation (cricket), additional food, holiday celebrations, and other expressions of compassion. Please pray for these often-forgotten men and women and help us as we reach out to them.

Apprenticeships

An essential part Fellowship’s ministry is encouraging young men and women to prepare to serve the global church full or part-time. With over 120 nationalities as part of our church family, an apprenticeship with Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to learn from and experience cross-cultural ministry in an English-speaking context. The Fellowship Apprentice Program’s vision is to “develop leaders for King Jesus from the world to the world.” This 1-to-3-year program seeks to:

  • Equip Leaders to be multipliers

  • Give a unique cross-cultural experience

  • Train them in hands-on ministry

  • Offer theological training (Gulf Seminary classes)

  • Be part of a multi-cultural team

  • Train for work in the international church

  • Different tracks and emphases

  • Short-term volunteering available (1-3 months)

Fellowship desires to offer scholarships to men and women from underfunded places. Some can afford to come or raise the funds necessary. Many more can’t. Fellowship will bear a large part of the cost for those who need help. But, to make it possible for more to come, we need your help. Please consider providing a scholarship to the Fellowship Apprentice Program.

Wordly AI Translation App

Fellowship Dubai is a church of 5,000 people from 120+ nations. This is amazing! But it also presents a big problem – How do you make Fellowship feel like home to the non-English speaking nationalities? More importantly, how do you communicate the gospel and explain the Bible in a language they can understand? The answer is in a new AI-generated translation app anyone can use on their phone. This new app, put out by a company named Wordly AI, instantaneously translates the spoken word to any one of 78 languages, provides a native speaker's accent, and provides a written text of what’s spoken. This is incredible, as it allows people to hear God’s Word in the language of their birth. Currently, Fellowship can only afford to offer this in 2 of its 10 weekend services. They have used it at their large Christmas and Easter celebrations, and the response was tremendous. Please consider making it possible for Wordly AI to be available in all Fellowship services.

GO Team

The Go Team ministry is a mission-focused outreach committed to sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ with communities in need. Their work involves going house to house to share the Good News, encouraging children and teachers in local schools, and assisting with construction projects to help expand local church buildings. More than just a mission trip, Go Team offers students the powerful experience of witnessing firsthand what God is doing in the lives of others, while actively taking part in the advancement of His Kingdom. Through building relationships and sharing the gospel, the Go Team seeks to be a light to the nations, fulfilling the calling found in

Acts 13:47: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth."
